Anne K. McGovern Burkhart

Anne K. McGovern Burkhart obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from the University of Cincinnati. After graduation, Mrs. Burkhart acquired extensive practical engineering and design experience while employed as an electronic design technician for the Franklin McLean Research Institute at the University of Chicago. Mrs. Burkhart graduated from the John Marshall Law School in Chicago, Illinois.

She has been registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office since 1992, and admitted to the practice of law in Illinois since 1995. Mrs. Burkhart practiced with a large U.S. Intellectual Property Law firm from 1990 through 1993, where she obtained important patent protection for some of the world's largest corporations in a broad spectrum of technological areas comprising medical devices, electrical components, and mechanical devices.

Since 1993, Mrs. Burkhart has been in private practice concentrating in providing personalized patent prosecution services for individuals and small companies.
